Mary Sabin, LPC
Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or simply feeling stuck, I strive to provide a supportive, affirming space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, relationship concerns, life transitions, and other emotional challenges. I integrate evidence-based practices with person-centered and trauma-informed care. Together, we'll identify practical strategies while also exploring the experiences, patterns, and circumstances that may be affecting your well-being.
I am committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care and creating a therapeutic environment where clients can be authentic and feel respected, heard, and supported.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma and provide both in-person and telehealth counseling. I am an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (SAIGE), a division of ACA. I am also an active member of the Oklahoma Counseling Association (OCA), Oklahoma Mental Health Association (OMHA), and OK-SAIGE.
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Oklahoma and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology-Criminology in 2008, and after a long career in human services, I returned to school and earned a masters in science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mid-America Christian University in 2022.
When I’m not working, I spend my time reading a variety of genres from fiction to non-fiction, focusing on my physical health and wellness, and spending time with my family and my rescued shelter dog.
Taking the first step can be the hardest part. If you're ready to begin your journey toward healing and personal growth, I'd be honored to work with you.
